Ineffable Redang Trip

Harloo...Long time no c everyone...I'm enjoying my one month holidays now,hehe...Long time no updates doesn't mean i doin nth in dis holidays. Had actually been to Pulau Redang during the 1st week of holidays.3 days 2 nights, plus 2 nights long journey travelled in da bus. The 18 of us...Me, Siew ling, Chin Ping and Hau, Sherilynn, Dun Siang, Yong Ching, Kelvin, Chee Meng, Gary, Ying Zhong, Chee Kin, Sze Ming, Hoe Hwang Jit Jie, Kok Soon, Elwin and Darrel Tan. Our depature time from Melaka Sentral was 9pm,27th of May, Sunday nite and reached Kuala Terengganu on the 28th, 4.30am...had a sleepless nite in da bus, quite terible actually...then we lingered at the bus station till 8 smth in da morning...afta that had our breakfast and headed to jetty to travel by ferry with minimal waiting time.On the ship, we could enjoy the gentle breeze blowing, the wave of the water and the superb panorama of Redang Island, too great to be described in words.......Very light-hearted then...haha..The sea is seems to have two colours, blue (azure) and green..Approximately 45 to one hour journey, we reached our destinations.Beautiful sandy beaches and crystal clear water...but i expected better wan,haha..." Redang Holiday" is the place where we stayed, 6 persons in a challet...we 5 girls were separated, sobsob...but the room all was full with sand too, yucks...After lunch, we took a short nap and started our 1st activity, snorkelling at Marine Park...a place where u could indulged urself in the marine environment with ur googles and lifejackets on, but the place there was crowded becoz we went thr during peak visiting season...drank lots of sea water there coz the mouthpiece doesn;t really fit...huhu..but we get to see variety of fishes, colourful corols, squid and etc. can't see any octopus and baby shark,sad sad...Some of us were being scratched by the corols,so painful...Afta back from the marine park, we got back to the beach and started to play volley ball till dinner time...Had the barbeque dinner at nite, everything was well-prepared..It was rainning at night, so we can't have any activitities at nite, just stayed in da room played cards, chit-chatting and sleep...We slept at 11pm at the 1st nite, and woke up 5.30am in da morning to watch sunrise...we could hardly see it coz our view were being blocked by the huge rocks.Afta breakfast, we had a walk along the "sun-baked beaches" ...luckily never get sunburn but still dark then....many nice sea shells along the beaches, but we are not allowed to collect it from dis protected marine places....There's squirrels intruded us during meal times,hehehe...10am, continue the 2nd time snorkelling in the middle of the sea, the water here is deeper and the current could considered strong...afta that, back to the beaches, and had our lunch...3pm, continue the 3rd time snorkelling, we couldn;t get the chance to dive, but we could see ppl diving thr...Afta back from the snorkelling, we 5 girls and 4 guys continue to swim our own around the outcrop...huhuh, it was dangerous,coz without anybody's guildance.1st time swim so long journey, bout 1km or more...I only knoe how to swim free style, thn swim till my hand so pain, n exhausted...hahaha...Afterthat, continue playing volley ball...haha
At night, yeah yeah, didn;t rain...afta chit chatting, we initially planned to go to the disco at our "Rendang Holiday" , but the lighting seemed like the " torchlight" we brought and the musics can drive u crazy, so we dicided to have a walk...We were walking barefoot in the soft and cold sand, very nice to walk ...the sand is literally soft and white...Dis walk was oso only a few of us, some of them were doin illegal gambling in the room,shhhhh,hahaha...We wanted to look for the blue sand at one end of the beaches, heard dat the sand will shine for a few seconds, then light off wan, seem interesting,but we failed to see it,no fate,haha...
We check out the next day bout 10 am and went to " Mo Mo tea" gift shops to buy some souvenis...Afta dat headed directly to Merang Jetty. I baught some shirts thr...hehe...and the bus back to Melaka was 8.30pm at nite whereas we already reaches KT bout 12 smth...noon,so we got to lepak thr...We went to China town in the evening and had our dinner there, we ordered a drink " Hao3 he4 de shui3" ...haha...so cute the name " Nice Drink" ...came with varieties colours and tastes. each and everyone got a different drinks,mixture of fruit juices...n thx for ming long and sebas yea...thx for the small bun,hehe....
